Teen Health Center at Sandalwood High

The Jacksonville Partnership for Promoting Health for Emerging Adults (JPPHEA) is a partnership between Duval County Public Schools (DCPS), Full Service Schools of Jacksonville (FSSJ), the Florida Department of Health in Duval County (DOH-Duval), the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network (JASMYN), the University of North Florida, and many other partners.

The JPPHEA focuses on: 1) DCPS Health Education using evidence based curriculum to teach youth about the risks of HIV/STD transmission, 2) DOH-Duval Disease Control program providing key sexual health services in teen friendly and accessible locations, and 3) creating safe and supportive environments for all students. This report provides a summary of grant activities focused on providing key sexual health services in teen friendly locations.
